Leonardo DiCaprio, Climate Change: Canadian Prime Minister Says ‘Revenant’ Star Needs to Chill

The Revenant star Leonardo DiCaprio might be trying to save the world from climate change, but Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau thinks Leo needs to chill a little bit and think before he speaks.

DiCaprio has been a big supporter of keeping our planet safe, something he mentioned in his speech after winning a Golden Globe, but it was his comments at the World Economic Forum that had the Canadian Prime Minister a bit unnerved.

The Huffington Post reports that later on that same day, Trudeau claimed that there are new governments with the purpose of committing to the act of climate change, but DiCaprio's "inflammatory rhetoric" on the change is reportedly "not helping those who have lost their oil-industry jobs," as the publication claims.

"I pointed out that both Alberta and Canada have new governments over the past year that are committed to action on climate change," Trudeau claimed, adding that there are several families "suffering" because of it, mainly due to having lost their jobs. Therefore, they too need to be supported.

"...inflammatory rhetoric doesn't necessarily help those families or help Canada," he said.

So, there you have it, Leo. Your move.
