Gucci Mane Turns Himself In To Atlanta Police, Trap God Arrested Over Nightclub Assault

Gucci Mane has reportedly turned himself in to Atlanta police. According to Atlanta's WSB-TV, the Trap God was arrested for aggravated assault charges. The charges stem from an autograph request in a nightclub that went awry. Allegedly, James Letley, a veteran and Gucci fan, walked up to Mane to ask for an autograph and Gucci clocked him over the head with a champagne bottle.

Lettley says the incident occurred in the VIP section of the Harlem Nights Club on March 16.

Amy Napier Viteri of WSB-TV broke the news of Gucci's arrest at 4:16 AM EST with the following tweet:

"UPDATE: police sources say rapper Gucci Mane has turned himself in, charged with aggravated assault for hitting soldier on head with bottle."

She later added "I'm told Gucci is in police custody. He will be booked into Fulton County Jail."

Gucci Mane's troubles may not end there. A second man has accused the rapper of assault (again in a nightclub, which Gucci should probably start avoiding).

 The man, who goes by TJ, told Viteri that Gucci Mane punched him in the jaw two days after the initial alleged assault (March 18). This time it was in Philidelphia's Club Onyx. TJ claims he was attempting to say hello to Gucci and shake his hand when the rapper attacked him.

"He punched me on the left side of my face, right here in the jaw, knocking off my glasses," he said. "I sustained a chipped tooth in the back. I sustained also swelling on the left side," TJ said.

TJ claims he couldn't retaliate, as Gucci's entourage was present.

"I was totally outnumbered. Them guys they would have dogged me if I tried to swing back," he said.

"I haven't ever been so humiliated in my life and disrespected," TJ added.

He ended the interview with something Gucci seems to have forgotten.

"You just don't go around hitting your fans," he said.
