Just as the series finale of Sons of Anarchy aired on FX, BOOM! Studios puts together a great collection for the SAMCRO comic book series. Check out Juice (Theo Rossi) and Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam) in Sons of Anarchy Volume 4 by writer Ed Brisson and artist Matías Bergara

Collecting issues #15-18, the fourth volume has four must-read stand-alone stories, Jax (Hunnam) gets a visit from an ex-member of the club who opens old wounds. Juice (Rossi)'s side business, Clear Passages, deals a blackmail plot which is more complex than it first appears. Bobby (Mark Boone Junior)'s trip to Vegas takes a wild, hungover turn for the worse. And Happy (David Labrava), long before he joined the motorcycle club, gets his very first tattoo. This is creator Kurt Sutter's world and characters like you have never seen before.

In our MStars News Interview, writer Ed Brisson describes these installments, "Each character is going to get a spotlight issue. So the first one, I hope I'm not spoiling anything, I think of these have all been solicited, but like the first one is actually going back and it's kind of a story where they re-meet with the minor character from the first season. Just in case it hasn't been solicited, I won't spoil who it is, but it's someone who, in my watching the show, had always wondered what had happened to him afterwards. We never really got that, they never really got back to him in the show really, and I'm sure it was never really planned to."

The Sheltered writer adds, "I like the idea of having these guys off by their own and to deal with the same sort of sh*t they're dealing with the crew, but seeing how they deal with it on their own."

The best in the bunch, in this critics's opinion, is Juice's action-packed tale. Brisson brings out the qualities of the tragic anti-hero as Juice does what he thinks are the right reasons. In the drawings, Bergara puts the action into high hear as Juice steers his motorcycle into a high speed chase.

RATING: TAKE MY MONEY...ALL OF IT!!

If you need a fixing of Jax Teller, look no further because BOOM! Studios has Sons of Anarchy Volume 4! Out in stores now!
