'Suits' Season 5 Premiere Spoilers: Twitter Reacts To Patrick J Adams' Mike Ross Shocker!

Season 5 of Suits had its midseason premiere on USA Network. Twitter had lots to say about the return of Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) as he dealt with Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams)' shocking twist.

In our previous recap, time was ticking away as Jessica believed she was going to be voted out of the law firm. Remembering his mother's betrayal, Harvey revealed to Dr. Paula Agard (Christina Cole) how his family was torn apart. Mike went to Father Walker to confess his sins and fears of losing Rachel (Megan Markle). In order save Jessica, Harvey had to resign from the firm. After Mike handed in his resignation, Rachel watched helplessly as her fiancee was placed under arrest by the police.

In our recent recap, while Gibbs was building her case against Mike, Harvey had to keep himself involved, even though he resigned. Loyalties are tested as Rachel's father, Robert (Wendall Mackie) now knows about Mike being a fraud. To order to keep Harvey's resignation secret, Mike promised to point the blame at Jack Soloff (John Pyper-Ferguson) unless he stopped going after Jessica (Gina Torres). Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) knew he had to fire Donna (Sarah Rafferty) so that she could help Harvey and Mike.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Adams reveals Mike's mindset, "As we've learned over the course of being a legal show, being arrested doesn't mean you are guilty. As a matter of fact, you're supposed to be presumed innocent. While this is the end of the road in some respects for Mike, it's also the beginning of a much longer and larger legal process for Mike and Harvey. I think Mike, being who he is, while scared, is holding it together so that he can start planning on how they can deal with the next step and trying to get him out of there."
