Zayn Malik, Gigi Hadid Not Dating - Former One Direction Star Talks About Rumors

Are they or aren't they? It is the relationship that tweens everywhere have been buzzing about over the last couple of weeks, as it has been speculated that former One Direction member Zayn Malik has taken a liking to Gigi Hadid. The two first got the rumor mill turning when they were spotted hanging out with each other after a American Music Awards party back in November, and ever since then, they have been photographed together multiple times. So are they dating or are these reports just rumors?

According to the musician, it seems that the two of them aren't really a couple, but just good friends.

Us Weekly first broke the news that these two were dating, but it seems that Malik isn't completely owning up to it.

The star opened up in an interview With Apple Music's Beats 1, to promote his latest single, "Pillow Talk," where the host of the radio asked if Malik was "in a relationship," to which he gave a conflicted response, saying, "Yeah. We're good friends."

The star didn't address the topic any further, so fans were unsure if the "yeah" meant that he was in a relationship, or if the "yeah" meant that he and Hadid are just good friends.

Since the news broke, the stars have even posed together in Instagram pictures, and have been spotted by the paparazzi on numerous outings together.

Malik also talked about the other newsworthy thing that has been making headlines recently while on the radio show, as he addressed his leaving One Direction.

"I always wanted to go, from the first year really," the star said of his desire to leave the band, according to Mashable. "I never really wanted to be in the band. I just gave it a go because it was there at the time ... There wasn't any time to process anything."
