Apparently, award-winning actor Ray Liotta doesn't enjoy Jennifer Lopez "running the show" on their new hit drama series, "Shades of Blue." Will such tension soon erupt into a huge celebrity beef

As MstarsNews previously reported, 61-year-old Liotta was initially wary about working with the headstrong Hollywood bigwig (via TV Guide):

"My biggest fear was that this was going to be 'The J.Lo Show.' [But] I met Jen and she was open. Not like, 'This is my show.' None of that from her. If anything, Jen was a cool chick on the set and I was the diva!"

So, what's the problem now?

Well, according to the seedy gossip tabloid National Enquirer, the "Goodfellas" actor feels "less of a man" working under the "American Idol" beauty. As the report over-dramatically insinuates:

[Lopez] is showing big-girl cajones behind the scenes, [which] triggered a case of blue balls for [her] manly co-star... [She's] showing him who's wearing the pants on their TV show - HER! Macho [Liotta] gets visibly tight jaws over J.Lo's frequent last-minute script rewrites that always ensure SHE gets the best lines!

Really? An alleged insider also adds:

"Liotta just won't accept that Lopez's not only the star of the show, she's also its PRODUCER! She calls the shots - and what she says goes! Liotta's brooding, sulking a lot in his dressing room because he hates that his dialogue's messed with, while Jennifer's gets expanded. But Macho Guy's just gotta get over it - because they've got a HIT!"

Oh, the drama!

To set the record straight, Liotta isn't "jealous" of his talented co-star. As GossipCop cleverly reiterates:

"He's a total pro in this business, which means he understands the power that sometimes comes with Lopez being the executive producer."

Makes sense, right?

The show officially stopped filming for the first season back in November (2015), so why would these issues come about now? Sound-off in the comments section below!
