It's been a roller-coaster ride for fans of Draya Michele. The former Basketball Wives star has been on-again and off-again with her fiance, Orlando Scandrick. But if you ask the mother-to-be about her chaotic love, she has a good explanation for their breakups and makeups. Michele claimed that the two of them manage to mend their relationship because they "can't go long without each other."

In the video clip, Michele told Hip Hollywood during the premiere of Fifty Shades of Black that she and her man are a typical soap opera couple when it comes to ther toxic relationship.

"We're just your typical soap opera black couple," Michele explained. "You know we break-up, and then we make-up right away. You know we can't really go too long without being without each other."

MStars News has been keeping up with Michele and the Dallas Cowboys star since the couple announced their engagement last summer. As soon as Scandrick put a ring on it, things went from exciting to crazy. Michele claimed that some people were blaming her pregnancy hormones for their ugly fights, but she said that wasn't it.

"No I stand by the things I've said. This time I was more angry that people were saying oh she's pregnant and hormonal. I was like no I'm not hormonal, I'm just real. So no I stand behind my words I don't care," she declared.

Last week Michele celebrated her 31st birthday, and the couple was spotted grabbing dinner. As for a wedding, Michele revealed that she was just chilling on those plans for now and focusing on her pregnancy.

"We're not rushing for a wedding date. I'm not rushing to get down the aisle, I'm just trying to get my baby out and relax for a little bit, maybe travel some, take my family some places we've never been before and then get married," she explained.

Michele and Scandrick's first child together, a baby boy, is due in April.
