Love don't live here anymore if you ask comedian and actor, Mike Epps. MStars News has learned that Epps and his wife, Mechelle, are calling it quits on their marriage and planning on divorcing after cheating rumors erupted last year.

According to TMZ, Epps filed for divorce on Tuesday, January 26 in L.A. superior court. Epps and his soon-to-be ex-wife have been married since July 2005. The couple separated in 2015.

Back in August, Epps was caught trying to flirt with another woman on Twitter, asking her to "DM" him. After that sneaking around fun, Mechelle blasted both her husband and the other woman for their messages with each other and posted her own tweet to them both along with a set of eyes basically saying that she was watching them.

When the scandal made headlines, Epps tried to blame the entire thing on his nephew and even blocked the woman who went by CeciCitra on Twitter. "Sorry to all my fans for all the drama on Twitter but I don't run my account by self fyi my nephew DM girls and they find out it's not me," he previously said. "Ok if I was in court ,would I be guilty? They say I had a gun in the bank but I didn't rob a bank ! Lol f*ck all yall." Epps is requesting joint custody of the couple's two daughters, Maddie and Mariah, ages 8 and 10. They are seen below working out with their mother.

Epps also has two other daughters from previous relationships that are seen below with their father at the Fifty Shades of Black movie premiere.

It's unclear if there was a prenup agreement between the couple but the actor is at least worth $6 million. Some of his hits included starring in Next Friday and The Hangover. Currently, Epps is starring in Fifty Shades of Black, Meet the Blacks and the TV series, Uncle Buck.

MStars News wants to know -- why do you believe Epps wanted a divorce? Do you think he wanted to be able to see other women without the headache and not be blamed for cheating? Or do you believe it really wasn't him and the loss of trust was too much for him to take?
