Bollywood Actress Prachi Desai Wants to Work With Varun Dhawan in an Intense Love Story!

Bollywood dazzling beauty, Prachi Desai rose to fame after her performance in Farhan Akhtar's musical film, Rock On! is currently working with Emraan Hashmi and has expressed her desire to work with young actors, like Varun Dhawan, in an intense romantic feature film.

The 27-year-old Desai started her acting career by starring in TV series, Kasam Se, where she got the opportunity to work with Akhtar in Rock On!. The actress later worked in crime drama film, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai with Hashmi. At a recent press event, Desai expressed her wish to come out of her comfort zone and wishes to experiment with her looks and performances in the future project. The actress was quoted by Indian Express as responding:

"I want to work with actors more my age and do films which are youth-oriented... I'd love to work with (actors) Aditya Roy Kapur and Varun Dhawan."

Desai further stated that after working in Rock On!, Bol Bachchan and Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, she wants to work in a feature film that will be youth-oriented.

"I really want to do a love story right now, I think doing something more youth-oriented would be a lot fun. It could be an intense story or a rom-com."

Desai will be be soon seen on 70mm with Hashmi in upcoming biopic, Azhar, in which she will play the role of Indian cricket Mohammad Azharuddin's first wife, Naureen Azhar. According to Times of India, the role of Naureen was first offered to Pakistani actress, Urwa Hocane but she declined the offer. The story will swirl around the controversial life of Indian team captain, Azharuddin, whose career was reportedly cut short due to his involvement in match fixing. The film will also feature Nargis Fakhri, Huma Qureshi and Gautam Gulati in pivotal roles.

The biopic is directed by Tony D'Souza and is slated to release on May 13, 2016.
