'The Revenant' Actor Leonardo DiCaprio Dons Major Accessory, A Vape Pen At SAG Awards 2016!

You know you're the man when you smoke a vape pen at the 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards 2016, which is exactly what actor Leonardo DiCaprio did! Besides winning a SAG award for "Outstanding Male Actor in a Leading Role" for the movie The Revenant, the most unique accessory and historical moment was when Leo as caught vaping.

Complex reported, "Leo vaping isn't the most unexpected act, but it was a real shock to see the acclaimed actor smoking at an awards ceremony. Maybe it's a statement, a way of letting all of his fans know that if for some reason he doesn't win an Oscar, he doesn't really care. He's chill. He's got his vape." While DiCaprio didn't sport a date, it was just him and his pen nestled between Titanic co-star Kate Winslet and Revenant director Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu.

According to ET Online, singer Miley Cyrus spoke of her encounter with the actor on The Tonight Show star Jimmy Fallon, while at the Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Special last February and apparently, smoking in public is nothing new for Leo. Cyrus confessed, "I was 20 feet, 15 feet from Leonardo DiCaprio, sitting there with his mom, he was hitting a vape pen. But it wasn't him that was making me kinda nervous -- I was feeling this emotion because there's an etiquacy [sic] of, when we're there, that you pass that s**t Leo! And he never did, so that was weird to me." 

Interestingly, no one seemed alarmed at the idea of a mega-star is smoking at a formal gala and there hasn't been any reports published on if the SAG committee has commented about smoking at the dinner gala.
