After the Star Wars: The Force Awakens, avid fans are dying to get their hands, or rather eyes, on another Star Wars movie. Lucky for us, we need to wait no more as to details and information with regards to another installment, a standalone story film Rogue One, are coming up and even pictures are no exemption.

Making Star Wars  have been allegedly trying to unearth some details and information about anything about the film. Through several sources, they learned some codenames used on different casts' characters and factions that will be appearing in the movie. Mind you, these codenames are somewhat strangely aquatic in nature. Though these codenames for sure could reveal some info about each character.

Felicity Jones' character, who could be named Lyra Erso, is codenamed Green Seal Leader. Jiang Wen is referred to as Seal Communicator Blue while Forest Whitaker's possibly one-legged character is called Eel Commander. Alan Tudyk, who plays a droid, is being called Seal Droid. With all the codenames, we can infer that these characters are, well, the good kind of guys. On the villain side, however, the characters all have codenames relating to sharks. So codenames are down between the seals and sharks.

Seals appear to be the protagonists, maybe the ones whose duty is to steal the plans for the first Death Star, which is a big plot element in Rogue One. As to the colors associated with the different codenames - Red, Blue, Green, and others --, there could be a possible split-up of the Rebel Armada into different teams or squadrons.

As expectations rise for Felicity Jones' character, there is a big chance that Rogue One would focus more on her team, the Green team, and that she would probably be the one in charge.

All of these, however, are not yet proven and would remain as rumors and speculations. It does not reveal much but at least, it gives an idea as to how the movie could possibly go. Best thing to do is to wait and watch if these are all true as Star Wars: Rogue One opens on December 16.
