Peter Thomas, Husband of 'RHOA' Cynthia Bailey, Charged With Assault in Bar Brawl

 MStarz News has learned that the brawl between The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Peter Thomas and a bar patron, Brandon Patrick Link was caught on camera and now Cynthia Bailey's husband is being charged with simple assault.

According to Radar Online, Thomas' marriage may get a bit more rocky after he has to deal with another issue at his bar, Sports One Charlotte, in North Carolina.

A Mecklenburg District Court spokesperson said Thomas was charged a day after the incident. Link, 45 claimed that he was "assaulted" inside of the bar after trying to talk to Thomas about business.

Thomas was likely to be served with a criminal summons Tuesday, Feb. 2, according to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's office..

MStars News previously reported that cops at the scene didn't see cause to charge anyone, but a police insider revealed that Link took his case to the magistrate's office with more details.

"Authorities found a compelling enough reason to call Mr. Thomas in for questioning," a source said. "They want to hear his side of the story and get more answers."

Another report says Link allegedly suffered an concussion when he was kicked out of the bar in the earlymorning of Jan. 24.

Thomas claimed that Link was drunk and was injured after slipping on ice. That was not on video obtained by TMZ (below). 

Bailey and Thomas have discussed their marriage problems openly on the Bravo show, with Bailey complaining about Thomas' frequent travel to run the North Carolina business. Last summer, Thomas made headlines after he was caught getting close with another woman at his bar. He denied that he was cheating on his wife.
