Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie finalized their divorce on Tuesday, reaching a financial settlement that resulted in a lump sum payment of $2.5 million from the 28-year-old actress to the 35-year-old retired hockey player.

TMZ reports Hilary must pay Mike $2,408,786 in the settlement. Duff will keep her Beverly Hills mansion and Malibu mobile home. Comrie will keep his 2014 Bentley coupe, a 2013 Mercedes G-Class SUV and some jewelry.

Duff and Comrie have a 3-year-old son together, Luca Cruz Comrie, and the couple have agreed to share joint custody of their son. Neither party will pay spousal support.

The singer and actress married the retired hockey player in August 2010 after dating for three years. They announced their split in January 2014, two years after the birth of their son.

Duff appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday, discussing being friends with Comrie and focusing on their son.

The Younger star said, "We have an amazing son. And we're both so obsessed with him. We are good friends and we laugh a lot and we have a great communication."

She adds, "We share pictures when one is not with Luca and yeah, he's great, we are great and we keep on trucking."

Duff opened up to People months after filing for divorce in April 2015.

The former Lizzie McGuire star said, "I went through my highs and lows but at the end of the day, I wouldn't change anything. I feel happy. And I'm excited about everything I have."

In Cosmopolitan magazine the same month, the actress talked about her failed marriage and moving forward with her life.

Duff told the publication, "Mike and I were very in love when we met. We both really wanted to get married. I'd been working since the age of 11 or 12, so making that choice at a young age seemed right for me. Maybe it wasn't, but we spent the majority of our time together really happy."

She added, "It wasn't working well enough to stay together, but there was still a lot of love involved. It was just a slow set-in of us not being the match that we used to be. I'm lucky for the person he is and I am and how we decided to handle this."
