Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer just got back shared custody of her twin girls, but now we have more info on the agreement between her and ex-husband Corey Simms. The former MTV couple finally came to an arrangement after months of nasty back and forth accusations that left their relationship in shambles.

According to Us Weekly, Leah will have Ali and Aleeah on Thursdays through Sundays and will bring them to Corey on Mondays, which means he'll have them for the rest of the week. On top of that, he'll have them for one weekend a month and the two will "split the bills 50-50."

"She was never asking for full custody," a source told Us. "She wants the girls to be able to see their dad."

One of the reasons the West Virginia mom lost custody in the first place was the judge ruled she was bringing her daughters to school late every day. However, the source said, "[Leah] proved in court that the kids were not tardy to school, so the judge said there was no reason the kids shouldn't be with their mom predominantly."

The Ashley Reality Roundup confirmed the MTV stars' arrangement as well as explained why Corey decided to share custody with his ex.

"They decided to do shared parenting," a source told the reality gossip site. "Corey's intention was never to rip the girls away from Leah. He fought for full custody because that was what needed to happen at the time to protect the girls. He never wanted to cut Leah out of their lives, or replace the girls' mother or anything else that fans were saying about him. People only know a piece of how bad things had gotten, honestly."

How will fans get to see the reality dad's side of the battle?

"MTV filmed Leah and Corey explaining to their families what happened inside the courtroom," the source said. "That footage will probably help fans understand why Corey did what he did in regard to custody."
