The CW Network and CBS are bringing together two DC Comics legends in The Flash and Supergirl crossover episode. Twitter had lots to say about the upcoming confrontation between Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist).

As we previously mentioned, Superman's cousin, Kara, has been living quietly amongst the humans. Her secrecy changes when Kara's sister, Alex (Chyler Leigh) is just about to die in a horrible plane crash. After stopping the plane crash in mid-air, everyone wants to meet the new heroine, Supergirl, especially photographer Jimmy Olson (Mehcad Brooks). As the plot to invade earth thickens, Supergirl will have to eventually take down her Kryptonian aunt and mother's twin sister, Astra (Laura Benanti).

In our recent recap, after Harry (Tom Cavanagh) stole the scarlet speedster's power, he was unable to stop the shrapnel from hitting Iris. Harry confessed to everyone he was secretly working for Zoom. After hearing Harry's confession, Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) then gave him a beatdown and threw him into a cell. Knowing Harry's daughter is in danger, Barry and the team are going with Harry to Earth-2.

In their press statement, Executive Producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg tease, " "We want to thank Grant Gustin for making the time to come visit (on top of his already immense workload) and all of the folks at CBS, The CW, Warner Bros. and DC for working this out. And finally, thanks to the fans and journalists who have kept asking for this to happen. It is our pleasure and hope to create an episode worthy of everyone's enthusiasm and support."
