Ben Affleck and Matt Damon rose to fame in the late '90s together as the best of friends after the two wrote and starred in Good Will Hunting, for which they both earned an Academy Award. Nearly 20 years on, their famous bromance continues as the two Hollywood megastars continue to work together, now as producers. This time they are launching a new dystopian series on SyFy, Incorporated!

According to Entertainment Weekly, SyFy has officially given Incorporated a series order, and it's a thriller set in a dystopian future. This is certainly within the channel's comfort zone considering they also have given the go ahead in the past to shows like 12 Monkeys and Minority Report. Hopefully Incorporated will fare better than the latter of those two. Still, the fact that it's being helmed by the two Oscar winners certainly spikes interest in the upcoming show.

The show will follow Ben Larson, a young executive from a creepy corporate world (one "20 minutes into the future," io9 reports) who has to go undercover to save the woman of his life, ultimately seeing things for what they really are. In all, it sounds along the lines of Total Recall or Continuum so that could be a lot of fun.

"The most powerful science fiction holds up a mirror to our world," Dave Howe, the president of SyFy, said in a statement. "Incorporated is exactly that type of smart, provocative series, delivering a fresh, edge of your seat thriller that challenges notions of the world we live in today."

The network certainly has a lot of faith in the project, already giving it a full-season order.

Coming Soon reports that Sean Tale will play the lead character, and he will be joined by Eddie Ramos, Dennis Haysbert and Julia Ormond.

Damon and Affleck's production company, Pearl Street Films, currently has a lot of work lined up, with a string of interesting-looking projects. So far, these include a film about the FIFA corruption scandal and even the planned DC Batman reboot, following this year's Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which stars Affleck as the Gotham superhero.
