TLC, the hip and defiant '90's girls trio lives on with the making of "Crazy, Sexy Cool: The TLC Story."  The lives of Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, and Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, will be potrayed in a made for TV VH1 biopic directed by Charles Stone III.

The film has started rolling in Atlanta and the cast featuring former Disney star Keke Palmer as Chilli, "America's Best Dance Crew" host Lil Mama as Left Eye, Drew Sidora as T-Boz have started posting some behind the scenes footage.

TLC got their rise to fame in the 1990's wearing condoms, midriff baring tops, and over sized jeans.  The trio went on to win several awards, including Grammy's MTV Video Music Awards, and Billboard Music Awards.

In the midst of recording their fourth album, "3D," Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes died from severe head trauma as a result of a SUV accident while filming a documentary on a spiritual retreat in Honduras.  The documentary "The Last Days of Left Eye" was featured on VH1 in 2007.

TLC was one of the most successful girl groups of the 1990's, according to Rolling Stone.

Their most decorated album "Crazy, Sexy, Cool," became the groups moniker and hence is the name for the up coming film. The album sold over 11 million copies worldwide and become one of the first albums to be certified Diamond.

Chilli and T-Boz will be consultants and executive producers of the biopic, which we hope will air sometime early 2014.
