Just as the latest trailer for this year's X-Men: Apocalypse came out in the Super Bowl, one of the film's new mutants, Psylocke, was having some fun with another member of Fox's Marvel Universe. In a recent epic Instagram post, actress Olivia Munn shows her mad sword fighting skills when paired up against Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool ... and it's the least fair fight ever.

Both Apocalypse and Deadpool got new trailers during the Super Bowl breaks, but two of the stars were having a completely different competition.  Munn's Psylock is bein introduced in X-Men: Apocalypse, a sequel to X-Men: Days of Future past and the timeline it created.  According to Entertainment Weekly, Munn, who has been showing her progress in swordsmanship for months on social media, challenged Reynolds to a duel -- and good thing it was a joke, because Deadpool is obviously no match to her.

For most of the hilarious clip, the Newsroom actress shows off her impressive moves with the sword as she prepares for the fight ... then the camera cuts to Reynolds, who, in very Wade Wilson fashion, is yielding a balloon sword and looking confused.

Later this week, Reynolds' second outing in the X-Men universe will be released, a highly awaited Deadpool stand-alone film. Previously, he had a small role as the Merc with a Mouth in 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine.  Munn, on the other hand, will make her mutant debut next May.

As Comic Book reports, Deadpool will tell the story of Wade Wilson, a Special Forces operative who is experimented on until he is horribly disfigured but also has vastly accelerated healing sot that he is practically immortal (similar to Wolverine's healing). In the film, the character, who has the most twisted humor in the Marvel Universe, goes after the man who ruined his life.
