Bollywood dazzling beauty Alia Bhatt recently signed onto doing an untitled film with Shah Rukh Khan, and now there are reports that the actress will be sought to possibly star with Akshay Kumar in Sriram Raghavan's upcoming film based on Gone With The Bullet.

Raghavan is famous in the Indian film industry for directing films action thriller films like Johnny Gadaar, Agent Vinod and Badlapur. Now, based on a report from Mumbai Mirror, Raghavan is going to collaborate with scriptwriter-turned-author, Sheeja Jose in adapting her novel, Gone With The Bullet into a feature film and may cast Bhatt and Kumar in the leading roles.

Jose, who published her book under Whitewall Publishers, first wrote the script of an action film and later turned it into a novel. Jose was quoted by Mumbai Mirror as saying, "It (the script) took me two years to complete, and when things didn't fall in place with Sujoy, I turned the script into a book. The story follows an 18-year-old girl who falls in love with a 40-something assassin."

While talking about the casting of the feature film, Jose expressed her desire that Kumar and Bhatt will be best to play the respective roles. "I think Sriram will agree that Akshay Kumar would be perfect as the brooding, dark assassin and Alia Bhatt as the new-age girl in love. It's a hatke (different) romance against the backdrop of bullets."

In other news, Kumar is currently busy in shooting 2.0 with Rajinikanth. As earlier reported by MStars News, Kumar will be seen playing the role of an antagonist in the film. On the other hand, Bhatt is currently busy in shooting Udta Punjab with Shahid Kapoor. After wrapping that film, she will start the shooting Gauri Shinde's film with Dilwale star, Khan.
