Ayushmann Khurrana & Parineeti Chopra Cast In ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ [WATCH]

Bollywood production house, Yash Raj Films' (YRF) recently announced on Twitter that singer-actor Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra have been chosen as the lead cast in their upcoming comedy romantic film, Meri Pyaari Bindu.

YRF broke the news of Meri Pyaari Bindu via uploading a video of Chopra on Twitter. The video starts with Chopra singing a song "Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi" from Meri Pyaari Bindu. In the later part of the video, the actress reveals that the film is produced by Maneesh Sharma, who is currently directing Shah Rukh Khan starrer Fan and will be directed by a new filmmaker, Akshay Roy. In the video, Chopra expresses her excitement for working on such script. The actress was quoted by Bollywood Life as:

"By the way, this is a song from my new film. The director wants me to sing it so I am very excited. After one year, I finally found the script I was waiting for and I have signed my next film. It's a Yash Raj film produced by Maneesh Sharma. The director is a new director Akshay Roy. And I finally get to work with my other singer buddy Ayushmann Khurrana."

There is nothing much else revealed about the film, except that Chopra will be playing the titular character of Bindu in the upcoming flick. Even Khurrana took to Twitter to express his excitement and stated: "So excited for my new @yrf announcement Meri Pyaari Bindu with lovely and talented @ParineetiChopra! Woot. (sic)."

Khurrana made his Bollywood debut by starring in 2012 from Vicky Donar, in which he shared the screen with Yami Gautam and ever since then he has been seen in half a dozen films and is currently shooting Manmarziyaan with his Dum Laga Ke Haisha co-star, Bhumi Pednekar.

The uploaded video shows Chopra singing in the melodious voice and with Khurrana, who earlier sang songs like Paani Da Rung, Saddi Gali and O Heeriye, fans are waiting for the duo to sing a song together in the film.
