Ben Stiller's son Quinlin Stiller gave his father a run for his money with his "blue steel" pose at the premiere of Zoolander 2 in New York City. The 10-year-old stole the show as he posed with his family on the purple carpet. Derek Zoolander apparently has some future competition with this young man.

Quinlin already has acting experience at age 10, with his first role as a voice actor in Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. He played the cub Alex, the younger version of his father Ben's character. He also had a small role as a child on a London bus in Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb in 2014.

Stiller's son was dressed in a gray suit and navy blazer at the New York premiere of Zoolander 2, where he did his great "blue steel" pose. His father appeared to be amused with his son's spot-on pose.

Ben and his wife Christine Taylor, who reprises her role as Matilda Jeffries in the film, made the movie premiere a family event. The couple posed with son Quinlin and their 13-year-old daughter Ella.

Zoolander 2, which comes 15 years after the first hilarious Zoolander movie in 2001, stars Stiller as Derek Zoolander and Owen Wilson as Hansel McDonald.

The cast also includes Will Ferrell, Penelope Cruz and Kristen Wiig. The screenplay was written by John Hamburg, Stiller, Nick Stoller and Justin Theroux.

The latest movie follows the characters as they are recruited by Interpol to infiltrate the high fashion crowd, ina an attempt to stop the assassination of the 'world's most beautiful people'.

US Weekly reports that ahead of the movie screening, Stiller stood up to thank his friends and also jokingly told his children, "Whatever you see tonight, I'm still your father."
