Jason Derulo Clears Up Foot-Injury Rumors; Jordin Sparks, Sage the Gemini Split

Jason Derulo is clearing up the details around the foot injury he sustained in Paris over the weekend.

The singer made headlines and had to be tended to around the same time ex-girlfriend Jordin Sparks was making headlines of her own, splitting up with her beau, Sage the Gemini. Sparks at one time was the love of Derulo's life and even supported him when he broke his neck.

But this weekend's injury wasn't that serious if you ask the pop-star.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Derulo had his fans terrified when he hurt his foot after performing on his Everything Is 4 tour. The singer said he was "a little intoxicated" when he claimed he had to get 20 stitches; turns out he didn't require any stitches, but hospital workers visited his tour bus to to help fix his "little cut." 

Derulo said his foot was OK and that the injury was "nothing serious." He said he stepped barefoot on a "sharp edge of an A/C vent" while on the tour bus. The singer also posted some photos to Instagram to prove he survived.

As for Sparks, word is that the singer ended things with Sage the Gemini. According to US Magazine, both Sparks and Sage have removed photos of each other from their Instagram accounts.

 In December the rapper posted a cryptic message on Instagram that read: "Mentally and physically I am weak. I am seeing and feeling myself get weaker says the old me. My imagination is a horrible place that I battle with in my relationship (being jealous) etc I say to myself maybe I should work out till I push evil thoughts out of me and ask God to shine light in the dark I'm f--kin myself up." He added, "I need to be a better man all the way around. So with that being said I will do so. Right now I'm actin like a b*tch I'm makin b*tch moves so I need to change that if I can get motivational words from you guys that would be amazing. Thanks."
