Kristen Stewart & James Franco New Movie Love? 'JT Leroy' Transgender Drama Film Adaptation

Rumors now suggest that Kristen Stewart will star alongside James Franco in the upcoming drama, "JT Leroy."

The real-life story follows Savannah Knoop, a woman who pretended to be a transgender man back in the 1990s. Knoop's "alter ego" was deemed JT Leroy, and used as a famous literary figure in several books penned by author, Laura Albert:

As JT LeRoy, Laura Albert wrote the celebrated novels SARAH and HAROLD'S END and the short-story collection THE HEART IS DECEITFUL ABOVE ALL THINGS. Details surrounding Stewart's actual role in the film still remain unconfirmed. Franco will also produce the movie through Rabbit Bandini Productions while working alongside renowned director, Justin Kelly. He directed Franco in the popular 2015 drama "I Am Michael," another true story of a gay rights activist who gets "saved" from homosexuality after finding God and religion. Helena Bonham Carter could potentially join the cast, too.

Stewart's schedule is nonstop! She already has a slew of flicks slated for 2016, including "Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk," "Certain Women," "Personal Shopper," and a yet untitled Woody Allen project. Does she even have the time to focus on a serious romantic relationship right now?
