Just call it the BotoX Files! Star of The X-Files, Gillian Anderson, recently took to Facebook to slam reports that she has had plastic surgery. The report in question claims Anderson, who plays Dana Scully on the show, had work done on her forehead, eyes, cheeks, neck, nose, lips and chin.

In her Facebook post, the actress, 47, said, "If it weren't so sad, this bollucks would have made my day." The quote is attached to a picture and link of the article making the claims.

Several hours later, Anderson posted again, this time with a current picture of herself saying, "This is how I really look! #Agingwithoutshame."

This is not the first time Anderson has made comments about her looks. The actress opened up in an interview last month about being comfortable in her own skin in Hollywood. "I like women a lot, and I champion them," she said. "I tell people when they are beautiful. I tell other actresses when I think their work is amazing. So I think women feel relatively comfortable in my presence. Also, because I'm not perfect, you know?"

Holding nothing back, Anderson added, "I've got flabby thighs, I'm aging and I'm 5'3. I talk about my failing in contemporary society in terms of gyms or food or whatever. I think there's a polite appreciation that I'm honest."

In the past, the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning star has not been afraid to be honest when it comes to other important issues. When she found out she was being offered half the pay that her male costar, David Duchovny, was, she called out her producers.

She was eventually able to negotiate a fair salary, and took it upon herself to speak out on the issue. She told The Daily Beast, "I think it's important that it gets heard and voiced."
