According to VH1's Couples Therapy host Dr. Jenn Berman, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth could use a little bit of her help. The couple's tumultuous engagement, on-again off-again marriage plans and rumored breakup has Berman worried and she shared her opinion with Ok!

"It tends to be a bad sign," she said about Miley and Liam splitting and reconciling repeatedly.

Berman added that the odds are already against the young couple.

"Statistically if you get married between 20 and 24 the odds are 60 percent that you are going to get divorced," she said.

She concluded that Miley and Liam should put off any plans for a wedding.

"If things are this rocky now when you are in this honeymoon period, I would say hold off on this wedding."

The controversy around the couple started when Hemsworth jetted off to Australia and Cyrus was spotted without her ring. Miley later explained via Twitter that she had some problems with the ring that needed to be fixed, and has since been seen with the ring back on her finger.

It was even rumored that Miley may be seeing ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas again, a piece of gossip Cyrus was quick to deny.

"I literally haven't seen Nick Jonas in years. Don't believe everything you read folks". She deleted that tweet then posted "Look at my profile pic. Look at my finger. Idiots. I couldn't have 'ran' into anyone because I haven't went to eat out in public in weeks because of the amount of paparazzi outside my house."

Miley eventually took that tweet down and settled for the simple "FOCUSED ON MUSIC & MUSIC ALONE".

An inside source has since told blogger Perez Hilton that the couple has managed to work things out.

"After a four-week break, Liam went back to Miley to talk about their problems," the unnamed source said. "They sat down and talked it all through."

"Miley told Liam she wants more romance in the relationship, while Liam said he wanted to her be more responsible and act her age."

"Liam and Miley both have dominant personalities and can be quite stubborn. In the end, they knew that it would be better if they just listened to one another," the source added
