John Boyega Feeds 'Star Wars' 7 Finn & Poe Dameron Couple Theory: 'You Never Know'!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens has turned into the third highest-grossing film of all time and that means its main actors have become megastars. After accepting the BAFTA for Rising Star last weekend, star John Boyega actor revealed that he's changed his mind about a growingly popular theory about his character, Finn: he thinks Finn and Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron could be a couple!

According to Radio Times, Boyega spoke backstage at the awards show about the possible romantic relationship between Poe and Finn, saying that "you never know" about these things. While he revealed that Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams viewed the two characters' relationship as a bromance, he wasn't sure if that's the general direction the Star Wars saga would follow.

"But now I'm learning what Mark Hamill said before when he didn't know that Darth Vader was Luke's father: you never know what they're going to pull," Boyega admitted. "I'm looking at the director Rian [Johnson] closely so he can get me involved early, so I can prepare myself. So who knows?"

Production for Episode 8 began this week in London, so it's pretty far-fetched to think there's no full screenplay for the movie at this point, so Boyega definitely knows where Finn and Poe Dameron's relationship is going.

In the past, Isaac had already suggested that the two characters, a stormtrooper and a pilot, were in fact a couple. When Isaac, Boyega and Daisy Ridley all appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to promote Force Awakens, the Guatemalan-born actor revealed that he "was playing romance" in the film and fans assumed he meant between his character and Boyega's.

Later on, Boyega said that the two characters being a couple wasn't canon and was only "in Oscar's head," but that hasn't really stopped the Internet from making theories about the two -- and now that Boyega has admitted Poe and Finn becoming a couple is a possibility, the Internet might just go wild!
