For anyone wanting the speed and many advanced features of the Apple iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus but could do without their large sizes, there's good iPhone news that just came in. Apple will be releasing a smaller iPhone in a few weeks. Not only that, the company will be breaking the standard they've set when it comes to releasing new Apple models.

Apple made an announcement that their forthcoming devices, the iPhone 5se and the iPad Air 3, will be released on March 18.

The company typically schedules releases of their products about a week or more after the heavily press-covered launching events. This year, however, Apple will be selling the upcoming iPhone and iPad merely three days after the product launching.

The latest iPhone will be small indeed with a size of 4 inches. It's a significantly smaller model compared to the 4.7-inch iPhone 6s and the larger 6s Plus with a size of 5.5 inches. But the new phone will be packing in plenty of meat.

The iPhone 5se will have Apple's newest A9 and M9 processors, the camera technology of iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, an NFC chip needed to make use of Apple Pay, and the latest Siri model. And for the color-conscious users, the 5se will come in the same shades as the 6s. Consumers can choose from space gray, silver, gold and rose gold.

The iPad Air 3 is also sounding promising. It's expected to have a display size of 9.7 inches. Rumors about the screen resolution are interesting as some claim it could be an impressive 4K resolution. The new iPad will possibly be very slim with a width of 5 mm.

In typical Apple fashion, none of these details have been officially verified by any of the company's top executives, including Apple CEO Tim Cook. The general public will have to wait for the product launching on March 15.
