Pee-wee Herman is back! Paul Reubens' beloved character from the 80's and early 90's is back on television after Netflix picked up the man-child's first appearance in years, Pee-wee's Big Holiday; now, the first trailer, featuring a very cool-looking Joe Manganiello, has landed online, and it looks funnier and sweeter than ever!

io9 describes the new Pee-wee trailer as "a beacon of hope in a forlorn world," and that's exactly what it feels like. After a long absence from screens (far too long), the sweet and hilarious man-child character will return to television, this time on Netflix, by leaving Fairville for the first time to face new and wondrous adventures.

In the new trailer, Pee-wee is shown as living the exact same life we always saw him living back in the 90's, as the "sweetest boy" in town.

While Pee-wee's working at the diner, a James Dean-looking and motorcycle-riding Manganiello shows up, advising him to shake things up and "live a little" for once -- and after agreeing and leaving everything he knows behind, Pee-wee runs into a number of whimsical adventures.

For his next Big Adventure, Pee-Wee packs all the essentials in his suitcase, like his golf clubs and a ladder for emergencies. Just as he's celebrating the success of the first moments of his holiday, three lady bank robbers hop on his car and make him drive away, something that apparently leads to a series of locations including New York City, the woods and an Amish community.

"In Pee-wee's Big Holiday, a fateful meeting with a mysterious stranger inspires Pee-wee to take his first-ever holiday in an epic story of friendship and destiny," reads Deadline's description of the upcoming release. "In addition to Reubens, the film stars Joe Manganiello, Jessica Pohly, Alia Shawkat and Stephanie Beatriz. John Lee directed."

The film Pee-wee's Big Holiday will be premiering on Netflix on March 18.
