Otaku Gang's latest mashup entitled "Marshall vs. Capcom" is currently going viral online in correlation with the release of Street Fighter V. Wonder if rapper Eminem approves?

According to hiphopdx.com, "otaku" (a Japanese term for "nerd" or "geek") now signifies a group of "hard-working individuals in music production, graphic design and video game programming." Solar Slim and Richie Branson (cousins) lead this outstanding association based in Texas:

"We'd figure we'd flip it and kind of bring it into a positive way and use it to kind of show people who like different things," Branson explains. "They may be into music a lot, or they may be into video games or movies or comics or anime. So Otaku Gang is basically representing those people who have sort of those interests that the mainstream may not [deem] acceptable... We kind of like wanted to give that something that people could be proud of. 'Yeah. I'm an Otaku. Yeah, it's dope.'"

So now introducing this latest "Rap God" videogame remix using the Marshall Mathers LP:

Do MstarsNews readers dig it? All music will be available for download into the game as of Wednesday (February 16), so fans can replace the original soundtrack. Slim reveals:

"It's actually like we're remixing the game itself. [Shady's] flow is so crazy, it's all over the place... And he sings on pretty much everything. From a producer's standpoint, you can't just make a beat. You can't just make sure that the beat fits around it and the groove fits around it. Now you have to match the key. When you're dealing with samples, we're only limited to Street Fighter samples, the challenge becomes so much greater."

The duo first gained major recognition with Life After Death Star, an epic combination of The Notorious B.I.G. and "Star Wars" -

Meanwhile, details surrounding a new solo album from the Detroit emcee still remain unknown.
