There may have been several reasons behind the cancellation of the Konami videogame Silent Hills, but the only depressing outcome is the fact that none of us will be able to play as Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead. However, now that Hideo Kojima is starting his own studio, it looks like he is eager to work with Norman Reedus in a new project!

Kojima spoke to IGN during the DICE Awards about future projects, where he admitted that he is looking forward to collaborating with Reedus once again.

"I don't know when, but it definitely would be great to work with him again," he said.

In addition to that, it looks like Kojima and Reedus have already met up to discuss a collaborative project. Kojima has shared a photo on Twitter, which shows the former Konami vice president with the TWD star. The caption read, "Reunion with Norman Reedus. Giving update about my own company."

Kojima was undoubtedly happy to meet up with the actor, who he confirmed was concerned about his welfare.

"I'm a fan of Norman, and he's an extremely nice guy," Kojima shared. "Last year he was worried, so I went up with him and told him, 'Everything is fine. I became independent. I'm doing my own thing now.'"

The issue between Konami and the videogame director recently took a rather hostile turn when Kojima was barred from attending The Game Awards last year. Although Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain won Best Action Game, Kojima was nowhere to be found and actor Kiefer Sutherland accepted the award on his behalf. Host Geoff Keighley later explained that Kojima was not allowed to attend the awards, but will hopefully be present in the next award show.

Catch Reedus in The Walking Dead Season 6, which airs on AMC every Sunday nights.
