Doctor Strange is officially filming in London, and fans have shared several photos from the set of the film featuring Benedict Cumberbatch looking a bit injured in full Stephen Strange costume. In addition to that, Chiwetel Ejiofor has finally made an appearance as Baron Mordo!

Although there are several photos of Cumberbatch in his Doctor Strange costume posted on Twitter, user Anything Cumberbatch has a clear view of the Sherlock actor on the set. Cumberbatch's temple appears to be bleeding.

Although it is unclear why Doctor Strange has been injured in the photo, a Youtube video might shed light on what is happening in the scene. The clip shows Cumberbatch and Ejiofor running to a figure in yellow that is lying on the pavement.

The video shows one of the first looks at Ejiofor in his costume as Mordo, a character that starts out as an ally to Strange in the comic books but eventually becomes one of his most powerful enemies. Although it has not yet been confirmed whether Mordo will be friend or foe in the film, Ejiofor recently discussed his admiration for the character.

"I think he's a fascinating character," he told HeyUGuys. "Even in sort of the original framework of that character, I think he's very fascinating and sort of fleshing that out and giving it a real three-dimensional quality has been really exciting."

In addition to that, Ejiofor also stated that Doctor Strange will be different from other Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.

"I think that even within the kind of scope, technical and visual scale of the Marvel Universe, I think this is really something unique as well. I'm excited for people to see it," he said.

Doctor Strange is directed by Scott Derrickson and also stars Tilda Swinton, Rachel McAdams and Benedict Wong. The film will be released on November 4.
