Big Ang's Funeral Set for Monday: 'Mob Wives' Star to be Buried in Staten Island

MStars News has learned that funeral arrangements have been set for Monday morning for Mob Wives star, Angela "Big Ang" Raiola, after she died last week losing her fight with stage 4 lung, throat and brain cancer.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Raiola's family and friends said their final goodbyes to the mother, daughter, grandmother, aunt and friend at the Scarpaci Funeral Home in Brooklyn, New York. The funeral home hosted four visitations for Raiola on Saturday and Sunday before her funeral service at the Basilica of Regina Pacis on Monday, February 22. Raiola's final resting place will be at the Resurrection Cemetery in her hometown of Staten Island.

After Big Ang died, a memorial web page was set up for everyone to mourn the loss of the reality star. One Mob Wives fan wrote: "I knew Big Ang only through watching Mob Wives, and it was her free spirit and loving heart that attracted me to her. I praise God that he allowed Big Ang into our hearts and lives and light up our lives. She will truly be missed and please know that she touched my life in ways that I will always cherish."

MStars News previously reported that Raiola died on Thursday, February 18 surrounded by her family. Days before she died, Raiola appeared on Dr. Oz where she claimed that her family was her strength. "I look at my kids and my grandchildren and I know how much they need me." Raiola continued, "My daughter lives with me with her kids and her husband, so I'm very close to my grandchildren. My sons' kids always sleep over."

Raiola's family has asked that fans make their donations the the St. Jude Children's hospital. In the post below, the family revealed that they wanted donations to go the hospital to help children battling cancer and other illness'. The reality star was a grandmother of six who loved children.
