Lea Michele & Matthew Paetz Split, Engagement HOAX: Cory Monteith Death Inspires Work & Music

Reports now confirm that Lea Michele broke things off with boyfriend Matthew Paetz after two years of dating.

According to reps for GossipCop, 29-year-old Michele remains fully focused on "positive" work and music. Going through this break-up was difficult, but both individuals remain amicable.

As MstarsNews previously reported, the "Screen Queens" beauty started dating the 30-year-old model after filming the video for "On My Way" together back in 2014:

Michele was romantically involved with "Glee" co-star Cory Monteith before his devastating suicide death in July 2013.

Michele has yet to mention her "single" status on Twitter, but has surrounded herself with healthy energy and good friends:

The holiday proposal was a "huge surprise" and made Michele "burst into tears." The popular life coach even got "marriage blessings" from Monteith's family. Obviously, that's not true.
