Christmas came early, folks. The Yeah Yeah Yeah's have made their latest album  Mosquito available for online via a full album stream  two weeks before its proper release on April 16.

The album itself harkens back to the original sound of the art-rockers early 2000s work, without sacrificing the hook-crafting and pop knowledge that they have gained over the last decade-plus.

"I had some serious nostalgia for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs in the early 2000s," frontwoman Karen O recently told SPIN when discussing the upcoming LP's birth. "I had some nostalgia for why I fell in love with the idea of performing in the first place. Frontmen like Jon Spencer and Lux Interior, and PJ Harvey. Strong, fun people who ignite some sort of fantasy with their charisma and the sexuality."

Plenty of the songs on the album have already been heard via music videos or live performances but still, it's nice to hear the finished work the way it's meant to be heard.

Check out the full album stream here via Vice's video offshoot Noisey.

What do you think of the album? Will you be picking up a copy of Mosquito on April 16? Are you glad that the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are feeling nostalgic?
