Netflix's revival of beloved family show Full House will be available starting this weekend, and while most of the cast of the 90's classic will be back for a second round in the old San Francisco house, one major character will be missing: Michelle Tanner, the role that put Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen on the map as babies. Now, the Olsen twins finally reveal why they turned down Fuller House.

People Magazine recently caught up with Fuller House executive producer Bob Boyett, who was asked why was it the Olsen twins refused to be part of the revival, and after months of speculation, he finally let everybody know what was on their minds.

"Ashley said, 'I have not been in front of a camera since I was 17, and I don't feel comfortable acting,'" said Boyett. "Mary-Kate said, it would have to be me because Ash doesn't want to do it. But the timing is so bad for us."

While Ashley hasn't acted since their joint project New York Minute, Mary-Kate has appeared in front of the cameras occasionally in the past decade, including a recurring role in Weeds and, most recently, being part of 2011 film Beastly, co-starring with other grown-up child stars Vanessa Hudgens and Neil Patrick Harris.

In any case, back in January, co-star and Fuller House executive producer John Stamos told Howard Stern something similar, saying the fashion moguls didn't really see themselves as actresses anymore. Of course, the twins were actually babies when they first started out on the show, While they keep in touch with the cast and crew, the experience is a little different for them. They've kept mostly away from the entertainment industry for years.

These days, the sisters work in fashion with a series of labels, including The Row and Elizabeth and James, the latter of which honors their two younger siblings, including Avengers: Age of Ultron star Elizabeth Olsen.

Fuller House will be available on Netflix this Friday.
