AraabMUZIK Shot in Robbery Attempt, Swizz Beatz Visits the Producer

Well known music producer, AraabMUZIK, real name Abraham Orellana, was shot on Thursday, Feb. 25. This is the second time that the producer has been shot within three years.

AraabMUZIK survived another shooting back in 2013. During that shooting he was "in the wrong place at the wrong time." That time the producer was shot during an attempted robbery. In Thursday's shooting, Muzik suffered gunshot wounds to his jaw and his right arm.

After undergoing surgery, rapper Swizz Beatz took time out of his busy schedule to visit the producer. In the post below, Beatz updated everyone on his friend's condition and wrote: "The blessings are real. My brother who's like my son @araabmuzik would like for everyone to know he is good and thx for the prayers. I would also like to send much love to the amazing doctors & team that saved his life."

AraabMUZIK is currently getting treatment at Harlem Hospital.

AraabMUZIK's friend, James Malloy, was also a victim in the shooting. He was shot in the right leg. Malloy is currently in stable condition at St. Luke's Hospital.

The shooting took place Thursday night at ProAmerica parking garage. Muzik and Malloy were about to leave the garage when two men came up to the driver's seat window. One of the suspects allegedly claimed that the producer had dropped something which is why he rolled down his window. After that, the suspects opened fired and fled the scene.
