McDonald's is catching a lot a of heat. While in one state the fast food restaurant, known for its fatty foods and mouth watering fries is stepping up its flipping requirements, in New York City employee's are demanding higher wages.
A Winchendon, Massachusetts franchise is requiring its new employee's to have a bachelors degree.
It addition to the degree requirements, those applying for the full-time cashier’s role must also have at least one year of experience in working the tills if they want get the job, according to The Daily News.
An add for cashier positions was published by the Washington Examiner, but it lacks information regarding the salary.

Minimum wage is currently around a $8 in Massachusetts, while other states have even lower rates. In New York City more than 70 McDonald's locations were grounds for strikes as employees picketed for higher wages.
The minimum wage in New York is $7.25 an hour, and food service workers may earn less than that, with $4.65 an hour because their total compensation includes expected tips.
