The O.J. Simpson has become news again -- it's being replayed in American living rooms as a hit miniseries on FX, and getting new life on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The new season includes a storyline about incidents involving the circle of friends O.J. and his ex Nicole Brown Simpson were part of. While Kris Jenner and Faye Resnick were close to Nicole, drama broke out when newbie Kathryn Edwards' name was mentioned in connection to her relationship with Marcus Allen, and the rumors that he cheated on her with Nicole Brown Simpson. While Edwards blamed Resnick for the rumors, KUWTK star Jenner may have been behind the rumors.

According to Radar Online, Resnick revealed that the matriarch of the Kardashian family was the real gossip behind the rumors, and she detailed it in her 1994 book, Nicole Brown: The Private Diary of a Life Interrupted.

BravoTV reports that in the book, Resnick wrote about a phone conversation she had with Jenner in 1993 in which the reality star told her: " Whatever you do, don't go out with Marcus Allen. He's the biggest womanizer in the world."

New wife or not, Kathryn isn't taking sass from anyone. Watch her on an all-new #RHOBH Tuesday @ 9/8c.

"Don't forget he's engaged to Kathryn. She turns a blind eye to his fooling around," the book continued. "It hurts her when he does it publicly."

In a previous season 6 episode Edwards and Resnick got into a heated argument at a dinner party about the rumors, according to an Us Weekly recap.

"My name was never mentioned in anything until you brought my name up," the new Housewife yelled at Resnick.

However, Resnick was not interested in dredging up the past. "I have nothing to say to anyone about what happened 20 something years ago. I mean, that was a very hard time and you know, it's sad. There's not really much to discuss at this point, is there?"
