NBC airs highly anticipated midseason premiere of Blindspot. In episode 12, will Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) and Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) find themselves trying to solve another piece of the tattoo map in Cease Forcing Enemy

While Jane is being tortured by Carter, Oscar rushes into the room and kills Thomas. After showing the video of herself, Oscar then attempts to untie her. As soon as the knots are loosened, Jane attacks Oscar and reaches for his gun.

Oscar reminds Jane that he is following her plan. After mentioning about a playbook, Oscar asks Jane to meet him on a rooftop. Oscar promises to tell Jane the truth since he was the one watching her being tattooed by a team of experts.

Back at the FBI office, Bethany (Marianne Jean-Baptiste) discovers that Carter is presumed dead. Because his death appears to be a suicide, Bethany then tells the news to Tasha (Audrey Esparza), who was on her way to deliver her resignation. Relieved in a strange way, Tasha crumples up her letter once she hears of Carter's death.

Following another case from one of Jane's tattoos, Patterson (Ashley Johnson) notices that a number sequence on Jane contains the numbers of pi, with a few numbers missing. The missing numbers are actually latitude and longitude locations. While  team is on their mission, Bethany  and Patterson have deal with Jonas Fisher (John Hodgman), the chief inspector with the FBI.

While Jonas begins interrogating Patterson, making sure she feels guilty for her boyfriend's death, Kurt and the others find themselves at a massive warehouse, with a commercial airplane.

After finding themselves in a standoff, the team meets with Susan Albright, an aerospace engineer who has created advance technology that a group of terrorists want.

When Jane asks Susan why she would help the terrorists. Susan reveals her husband was killed for trying to contact help. Susan couldn't risk the rest of the passengers' lives; which is how Jane feels about kurt and the others.

Just when Fisher has Patterson put on suspension, Tasha sends a message in morse code to her. Weller and Jane find themselves in a plane that takes off into the sky, with a rocket inside. To keep the plane from crashing, Bethany knows she needs Patterson to talk Jane into landing the plane.

Patterson does her best, trying to remain calm and give orders back to Jane. Though the landing gears don't work, Jane has to glide the plane onto the runway. Knowing her friends are safe and sound, Patterson hits the floor and breathes while the others behind her cheer. Though he has taken Paterson off of suspicion, Fisher promise Bethany this is the start of her own collapse.

Jane then asks for removal of the security detail, but Bethany will only allow it as long as Jane stays in the safe-house. As Kurt deals with his feelings, Jane meets with Oscar on the rooftop. Though Jane is Taylor Shaw, Oscar will only reveal more when she accomplishes a few small and big tasks.

When Jane refuses, Oscar doesn't understand because those are her own terms she made.
