Newlyweds, Crystal Renay, and Ne-Yo are patiently awaiting the arrival of their son. As they play the waiting game, the mom-to-be penned a touching letter to her son, Shaffer Jr. before giving birth.

Showing off her baby bump in the Instagram post below, Renay wrote to her unborn baby boy: "Getting you here safe and sound has been the biggest battle of my life. It's a battle I will gladly fight every day because you have changed me in so many ways already and I can't wait to meet the little man who gives me such beautiful torture. I'd experience a thousand deaths if it means I get to hold you at the end. I promise to be the best mommy to you and always putting you first above all ( even daddy) my prince, my baby, my world. I love you more than myself #ShafferJr"

MStars News has been keeping up with Renay's pregnancy from the beginning. And now, we are also waiting to see the precious newborn when he decides to come out into the world.

Tying the knot back on February 20, Renay revealed that she was nine months pregnant and hoped that she wouldn't go into labor, or "fall on her face." Her husband, Ne-Yo was just praying that she wouldn't start having contractions and end up in the hospital delivering their son.

"I'm more concerned about her making it all that way down that aisle or if the water breaks or something," the "Religious" singer previously stated.

Now another week has past, and still no baby yet. In the video below, Renay told her pal, Eva Marcille that she hoped to have her baby the night of their new show premiere. That didn't happen.
