Lil Wayne & Kanye West Collaboration, 2 Chainz Twitter Tease Project Before ColleGrove Release

Despite constant social media backlash, rapper Kanye West actually shared some exciting news on Twitter earlier this week:

@kanyewest: "New project with 2 Chainz and [Lil] Wayne dropping this Friday."

The viral image features the "We Own It" emcee's face covered with Weezy's infamous tattoos.

Wayne and Chainz are already working on a highly-anticipated joint album together entitled ColleGrove. They premiered the record's first single "Rolls Royce Weather Everyday" back in February:

Yeezy didn't provide many details, so it remains unknown if this is an entirely separate project, or perhaps just a new collaboration for the upcoming mixtape. But as HotNewHipHop.com cleverly reports:
