El Rey Network has marked the production date for Season 3 of From Dusk Till Dawn. Before the highly anticipated premiere, director Robert Rodriguez returns with his cast and crew to work on the upcoming episodes.

According to Dread Central, shooting for the 10 episode arc will commence on March 14 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. With Carlos Coto returning as showrunner, the Sin City filmmaker will direct select episodes. Rodriguez directed the sophomore premiere and finale.

From the plot synopsis, Season 3 continues the Gecko brothers' saga as they fight their way through the world of culebras how have enough control and hidden empires in Texas and Mexico. Once the baddest outlaws in the land, Seth and Richie made a run for the Border two years ago to save their lives and their fortune. They ran headlong into a bar full of bloodsuckers and bandits, facing off with the vampire goddess Santánico. The Geckos joined her cause, and they settled an old score. It won them a place in the culebra world. Now that world is about to explode, and new enemies are gathering - dark forces now hell-bent on destruction and domination.

Rodriguez states, "We're taking Season 3 to a whole new level. It's an explosive time in the 'Dusk' world, and the Geckos will be up against new villains with new agendas and powers. We're all psyched about diving back in for kick-ass action-packed thrills."

In our MStars interview, we asked: How much of the third season of From Dusk Till Dawn is already planned? Or do you have to start from scratch?

Robert Rodriguez responds, "It's great that we have so many characters. You would think that would a goal of ours since we started the TV show. I already had a lot of characters in the very first season. We added two. It's a lot to work with. We are in a really good place! We have plenty to fill up a 10 episode season with!"

The cast includes D.J. Cotrona, Zane Holtz, Eiza González, Jesse Garcia, Madison Davenport, Brandon Soo Hoo, and Jake Busey.

From Dusk Till Dawn will return El Rey Network for Season 3.
