HBO has released the red band trailer before the highly anticipated Season 6 premiere of Game of Thrones. This is the perfect opportunity to check up on Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) and Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) in author George R.R. Martin's ongoing epic saga.

As we previously mentioned, in the fifth season finale, Cersei Lannister was forced to strip nude and had to be humiliated during her walk of atonement. As Cersei sworn revenge against the High Sparrow and the Faith of the Seven, Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) witness the poisoning of his daughter Myrcella. While Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) was surrounded by a Dothraki horde, Jon Snow (Kit Harington) was elsewhere being stabbed to death by the traitorous Nights' Watch.

Check out our 5 thoughts on the Game of Thrones official trailer here:

5) It's All About The Game!

Musician James Vincent McMorrow does a cover of Chris Isaac's popular song, Wicked Games. Timed to the footage, McMorrow hits those high notes when he recites the lyrics, "No one wants to fall in love." Even Tyrion Lannister (Dinklage) warns, "You're in the great game now. And the great game is terrifying."

4) It's A Whole New Show!

Showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff have no more books to adapt from the A Song of Ice and Fire series. Will the show creators follow their own rules? Or do they know something about Martin's epic vision that book lovers don't? This time around, both fans of the television show and book readers don't know what's going to happen next.

3) You Idiots! You Made Cersei Mad!

In the aftermath of her walk of shame, Cersei looks like she really wants revenge against the Faith of the Seven and their High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce). Shakespeare even said it best. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned as Cersei even says, "I choose violence." Watch what happens when she unleashes moribund the Gregor Clegane!

2) So Much Fighting!

The one sight that made me cringe was seeing Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) take a beating. Damn, Arya just took one punch and already she coughing up blood. That's not fair! You're just cheating, picking on a blind little girl. But you're going to be sorry when Arya learns how to use her five senses. If Daredevil can do it, so can she!

1) Bran Stark Is Back! But For How Long?

Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) is all grown up, even cut his hair, since having missed all of the fifth season. That's right, Bran Stark is back after being trained Three-Eyed Raven. Will Bran fly like he was old back in the fourth season? Or is he going to lose against the leader of the white walkers, the Night's King?

Season 6 of Game of Thrones premieres on HBO Sunday April 24.
