HBO Home Entertainment is bringing the critically acclaimed Season 5 of Game of Thrones on DVD and Blu-Ray. Before its sixth season return, this is the perfect opportunity to catch up on Jon Snow (Kit Harrington), Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) in the special features of George R.R. Martin's ongoing epic saga.

As we previously mentioned, at Castle Black, Jon Snow (Harrington) struggles to balance the demands of the Night's Watch as the newly-arrived Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) claims himself as the rightful king of Westeros. Meanwhile, Cersei (Headey) scrabbles to hold on to power in King's Landing against the rise of a religious group led by the enigmatic High Sparrow. As Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) embarks on a secret mission, Arya (Williams) seeks an old friend while a fugitive, and Tyrion searches a new cause. Over in Meereen, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) must make a hard sacrifice if she wants to take control of her crumbling city.

5) The Women On This Show!

Notice how Margaery (Natalie Dormer) uses her sex appeal to seduce and manipulate her husband, Tommen, into choosing her over his mother. Arya heads straight into a dark path as discovers one of the names on her to-kill list. Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) will stop at nothing as she is just a sword swing away from getting revenge against Stannis.

4) The Fan Favorites Meet!

Just as it was written in A Feast for Crows and A Dance with Dragons novels, the most popular characters, Tyrion Lannister and Daenerys Targaryen are destined to meet. And when these two characters meet, these actors, Dinklage and Clarke, bring in their A-game. Dinklege always gets to deliver the best lines as Tyrion and Clarke continues to be a badass warrior.

3) OMG!! That Ending!!

This episode had Cersei's walk of shame, Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner)'s escape from Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon), and the unforgettable betrayal of Jon Snow. Re-watch the scene that had everybody asking, Is Jon Snow really dead? Kudos to director David Nutter, who directed the pilots to The Flash, Millennium, and The X-Files, for taking home the Emmy award for Directing in a Drama Series.

2) The Best Episode Ever!

This critic's favorite episode of the fifth season has to be Hardhome, which features an epic battle between Jon Snow and the White Walkers. In our MStars News interview, Pitch Perfect 2 actress Birgitte Hjort Sørensen talks about playing Karsi, "I don't know if you find this interesting. [Laughs] For most of the scenes, Karsi has big fisherman waders underneath the costume. I had to go into the water and it actually kept me nice and warm! Underneath Karsi is a fisherman! [Laughs]"

1) The Bonus Features

The behind-the-scenes featurettes include The Dance of Dragons, A Day In The Life Of, Histories and Lore, Anatomy of an Episode: Mother's Mercy, and The Real History Behind Game of Thrones. There will also be twelve audio commentaries from the cast and crew, plus four deleted scenes.

Game of Thrones Season 5 will be available on Blu-ray and DVD March 15, 2016. Season 6 of Game of Thrones premieres on HBO Sunday April 24.
