The LOX Back? New Music from Jadakiss and Styles P [LISTEN]: Styles P Releases 'Red Eye' Single From Upcoming Album 'Float'

The hardest rap trio since The Beastie Boys, is back!! Yonkers own, The LOX, are reportedly hard at work in the studio, and Styles P just released new music from his solo project "Float."

The Styles and Jada collabo "Red Eye" will be featured on Styles album, to be released April 16, according to This Is 50. MTV News claimed an April 20 release date.

SP "The Ghost" chatted with MTV about his upcoming album, producing entirely by Scram Jones. I think Scram Jones brings a raw element of hip-hop to the table. I think he brings what the core of a producer is about, which is making a beat to fit the MC," Styles told MTV News on Tuesday.

According to MTV the 12-track LP will feature appearances from LOX members Sheek Louch and Jadakiss, N.O.R.E. and Raekwon all make appearances on the LP.

While Styles P is preparing to release "Float," LOX fans are still hungry for another joint album. Jadakiss told Rap Radar Dec. 2012 that a LOX reunion was in the near future, stating that the lyrical assassins were more than 5 tracks into their upcoming "We Are The Streets 2," but when will get to hear it?

It's been more than a decade since The LOX released "We Are the Streets" in 2008, and judging by the current state of the rap game, the streets are in dire need of them.
