How does it feel to chase someone who looks just like you? Well, this is what Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has tried to showcase in his upcoming film FAN. Additionally, to lure his fans in real life, Khan tweeted a still from the film, a month prior to its release, where he is seen chasing a fan who is his doppelganger.

The actor posted a picture on his official Twitter handle in which he is seen chasing his own lookalike. Khan, who was last seen in Rohit Shetty's most hyped film Dilwale, gave the image a caption that gives a glimpse of what exactly that film has to offer.

It was earlier reported by DNA India that FAN will exhibit the story of Delhi-based Gaurav, who is a hardcore admirer of superstar Aryan Khanna. As he decides to meet Khanna on his birthday, Gaurav travels to Mumbai. However, when his plans fail, Gaurav gets drowned into disappointment which turns into a risky obsession. Now, how will the things unfold is something one will get to know after watching the film.

This isn't the first time when Khan has enacted a double role. Films like Ra.One and Duplicate were two such films that showed Khan in a dual role. However, he clarifies that in FAN he enacts a look-alike, not a double role. It was reported by Firstpost that when Band Baaja Baarat fame directed Maneesh Sharma narrated the story to Khan, he got the idea that the film will not feature him in a dual avatar. The actor was quoted as:

"I thought it is very difficult to make (FAN movie) as it was not a double role, but a look-alike."

FAN is not the only big project of Khan that is set to release this year. Along with Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, Bollywood's superstar is currently shooting for Rahul Dholakia's Raees.
