It has been a long road for the Duggar family over the last year or so. The TLC family had their reality show cancelled following reports coming out that their eldest son, Josh Duggar, had sexually molested five underage girls, two of which where his sisters, Jill and Jessa Duggar. Josh then checked into rehab for his porn addiction, as well as to get help for cheating on his wife, Anna. Now that he has completed 9 months in the facility, he has been released and the Christian family is finally speaking out about the incident that put him there in the first place and forgiveness.

According to Us Weekly, the family is sticking by his side, saying that it was a very tough thing to get through, but that they are working on moving forward.

The family appeared on Good Morning America on March 14, where they were interviewed by Paula Faris about their brother, and they had some interesting things to say about the whole situation.

"The devil took his best shot," Josh's brother, John-David, told the anchor. "And he tried to take our whole family down, but God has really used this to- instead, of tearing us apart as a family, he's using it to draw us together."

Not only that but John-David, who we previously reported said he had lost his role model in his big bro, shared the he has since forgiven him.

"We've forgiven," the star stated. "We're moving on and we're looking to the future."

Parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, also released a statement following Josh's release from the treatment facility saying that they are happy to be working on repairing the family.

"We are so thankful for everyone who work with Josh in this program," the statement explained, adding, "it was a crucial first step in recovery and healing for Josh. Josh has now returned to Arkansas, where he will continue professional counseling and focus on rebuilding relationships with his family."
