Created by Carlton Cuse (Lost) and Ryan Condal (Hercules), USA Network aired the first season finale of Colony. This is the perfect opportunity to check up on Will (Josh Holloway) and Katie Bowman (Sarah Wayne Callies) as they live beyond the wall in episode 6 through 10.

As we perviously mentioned, Colony is set in the near future of Los Angeles. The city of angels now exists in a state of occupation by a force of outside intruders. There are some people who actually choose to collaborate with the extraterrestrial authorities and benefit from the new order. There are also others who rebel against the system and suffer the consequences. Will Bowman (Holloway) and his wife, Katie (Callies) struggle to keep their family together in this new world.

Check out our 5 thoughts on the last five episodes of Colony:

5) A Nail-Biting Episode!

The writer's favorite episode has to be Yoknapatawpha. The suspense is all captured in one location as Katie and Will team-up together to protect Proxy Snyder (Peter Jacobson). With the rebellion after him, Will and Katie have to keep him alive, in order to find their missing son's location.

4) Should We Trust Him?

This critic knows Will is a collaborator but I'm going to have to side with Holloway's character on this one. Broussard gave a lot of info about the infamous hit-man, who committed one assassination after another. This cold-hearted killer is the guy you want leading a rebellion?

3) They're In Outer Space!

In From the Cold starts with an opening that blows your mind! At The Factory, as he's being held prisoner, Will's friend looks out the window, staring at the Earth!

2) Was That An Alien?!?

In Zero Day, Broussard (Tory Kittles) and his team blew up a train and discovered the VIP covered from top to bottom in armor. In our MStars interview, Thora Birch teases about her role as Morgan, "She's playing a part in a major operation that kind of wraps up the season really nicely and kind of leaves the audience, you know, really wanting more."

1) So Many Cliffhangers!

The finale of Gateway concluded with a wave of arrests, including Will's son and Proxy Snyder. Thanks to Synder, Will has the papers needed to make his way into Santa Monica. After sacrificing her family for the rebellion, Katie returns home to an empty household. But she's not alone; someone is watching her.

Bonus:

In our MStars interview, Sarah Wayne Callies dished on Will and Katie's split, "I think that in a way, Will and Katie learn that love is not all you need, in the first season, that these ideological differences really may become profoundly problematic in their marriage. And I think there's a trust that over the course of the season, but that really culminates in that final argument. It's a tough thing to come back from."

Colony will return to USA Network for season two.
