Melissa McCarthy has been battling the bulge and winning. The 45-year-old actress of the soon to be released Ghostbusters remake has dropped approximately 50 pounds and looks great. She started her diet in 2015 and is still going strong.

The Mike & Molly Emmy winner in currently a size 14 dress. "You bring it real down, you don't do anything fun and you go to bed at 7:30 -- that's the trick," claimed McCarthy to Extra before adding that her secret to losing all her weight is a "boring life" with no more junk food. The mother of two has struggled with her weight since her breakout role in the 2011's Bridesmaids where she earned an Oscar nomination.

The comedienne of the upcoming film The Boss kick started her weight loss with a high protein, low carb diet. "I stopped over-analyzing, over-thinking, over-doing anything. I kinda went back to when I was pregnant and I just stopped constantly being worried about it and I think there's something to kinda loosening up and not being so nervous and rigid about it that, bizarrely, has worked."

McCarthy has since started her own plus size clothing line. "A good portion of women in America are size 14 and higher. I just try to make clothing that'll make all women feel really good." said the Gilmore Girl star to Redbook.

Of course, as the old joke says, where does weight go when you lose it? Here is a list of the top 5 ways that McCarthy's 50 pounds could be used.

5) It could be used to create another Kardashian ass.

4) Democratic presidential nominee Bernie Sanders could cut it up and share it with 50 people.

3) It could be used to balance Angelina Jolie on a seesaw.

2) Comedian Kevin Hart could carve it out and use it as shelter.

1) It could be added to the 40 pounds Jonah Hill lost, the 50 pounds Adele lost, the 52 pounds Russell Crowe lost and the 100 pounds John Goodman lost to create a Rosie O'Donnell impersonator that Donald Trump could insult.
