'The Walking Dead' S06E14 'Twice as Far' Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus Premiere Recap!

AMC continues after the midseason premiere of Season 6 of The Walking Dead. In episode 14, are Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) ready to go Twice As Far outside of Alexandria?

While Carol is talking to Daryl, Abraham and Eugene find themselves reluctantly working together. Even though Alexandria is filled with food, Eugene knows they are lacking in bullets. Eugene has an idea that could help the group make bullets.

Because she knows the location of a pharmacy, Denise asks Daryl and Rosita to join her on the trip. On the way to the pharmacy, Daryl refuses to let Denise drive shift, even though she knows how. Daryl continues to drive a rift as he refuses to follow Denise's directions, even though they're much faster. 

Eugene picks the lock and enters the metal factory. Because Eugene couldn't kill the walker, Abraham steps in and does it for him. After getting into an argument, Abraham leaves Eugene after getting insulted by him. 

Daryl opens up the locked gate and discovers the pharmacy is full of medicine. As Daryl ad Rosita steal the medicine, Denise follows the strange noise into the back, spots the walker, discovers the remains of a dead body, and leaves crying. Rosita tells Denise that she wasn't ready to see the outside world. 

On the way across the train tracks, Denise spots a cooler inside an abandoned car. She deicides to steal the cooler but the walker inside the car grabs her. Denise refuses to let Daryl and Rosita help her as she stabs  the walker with her knife. Still in shock, Denise throws up on her glasses.

Standing her ground, Denise starts yelling at Daryl and Rosita for being stupid. For the first time in her life, Rosita is alone and Daryl is unable to open up. Denise's worst fear is that she didn't tell Tara that she loves her. Everyone has to wake up, Denise says. 

Before she could finish her sentence, an arrow hits Denise's eye, killing her instantly. Daryl and Rosita points their guns at Dwight, who has Daryl's crossbow in his hands. The Saviors have Eugene captured as their hostage. With everyone's finger on the trigger, Eugene spots Abraham hiding in the bushes.  

During the immense shootout, Eugene takes a bullet for Abraham. Daryl though isn't able to get his hands on the Savior who killed Denise. Dwight makes a run for it with the others as Daryl continues firing Knowing Eugene is bleeding from his wound, the others carry him off the train tracks in a hurry.

Back in Alexandria, Eugene has been stitched up and saved  from infection, thanks to Denise's antibiotics. Abraham then makes his apology to Eugene, before visiting Sasha. Afterwards, Sasha and Rosita are unable to look each other as they stand guard. 

While Daryl is burying Denise, Carol admits to him that he was right; he should have killed them before. Carol leaves a Dear John letter to Tobin, abandoning him and the rest of Alexandria as the others go to war.
